• Artwork and customer files stay on your computer. DayZu Impose never uploads them.
• The app goes online only to check for a new version, when you write to us in the chat, and, if your shop connects to the DayZu Hub, to send job cards: never files.
• The DayZu Hub keeps your shop's records for your shop only. Other shops, and our team, do not see them.
• No ads, no tracking, and we never sell or rent anyone's information.

1. Who we are

DayZu (the DayZu Impose app, the website dayzu.ai and the DayZu Hub at app.dayzu.ai) is made by DHB PTY LTD, an Australian company ("we", "us").

2. DayZu Impose, the app on your computer

• Your files: opening, checking, laying out, adding bleed and enlarging pictures with AI all happen on your computer. Files are not sent anywhere.
• New versions: once a day the app asks dayzu.ai whether a newer version exists. The request carries no identifier, no version number and no file names. Like any website, our host sees your internet address. You can turn this off in Settings.
• The chat: when you write to us from the app, we receive what you wrote, the app's version and the name of your operating system. App details (version numbers and recent error codes) go only if you tick "Attach app details". Never a file.
• Connecting to the DayZu Hub happens only if you press Connect. The app then sends the computer's name, your Windows user name and a public key, so the shop's owner can recognise the computer before approving it. After that it sends job cards: the customer's name, the job's name without its file type, the job type, its status and quantity, and numbers about the printed sheet (size, pieces, sides). Never files, file names or folders. The computer's private key stays on the computer.

3. The DayZu Hub (app.dayzu.ai)

• Signing in with Google: Google tells us your name, your e-mail address and that the address is verified. We receive nothing else from your Google account. You stay signed in for up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
• Your shop's records: the shop's name and country; its members and their roles; its customers (the name, phone, e-mail and notes the shop enters); its job cards; invitation links; the computers it connected (name, Windows user, the internet address and country they connected from, when last seen); and a log of who did what, kept as identifiers rather than contents.
• Kept apart: each shop's records are stored separately. People see only the shops they belong to, and only what their role allows. Our team does not look at a shop's records, except when the shop's owner asks us for help or the law requires it.

4. The chat on dayzu.ai and in the app

Messages are stored on dayzu.ai so we can answer. An AI assistant drafts answers from the DayZu guide; the messages reach an AI provider through OpenRouter, Anthropic or OpenAI, set so that providers that keep or learn from messages are not used where the service allows that choice. A person from our team may read and answer. Your internet address is kept only as a one-way code that changes every day, to stop abuse. A conversation is deleted after a year without messages.

5. Who keeps information for us

• Cloudflare, Inc. runs dayzu.ai and the DayZu Hub. Information may be stored or processed in Australia, elsewhere in Asia-Pacific, or in the United States.
• Google signs people in to the Hub.
• AI providers for the chat, as in section 4.

We do not share anyone's information with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Information about a shop's customers

A shop decides which details of its own customers to keep in the DayZu Hub, and is responsible for having the right to keep them. We keep them only to run DayZu for that shop, following its instructions. Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act the shop is the data controller and we are its data processor. A shop's customer who wants to see, correct or remove their details should ask the shop; we help the shop do it.

7. How long we keep things, and deleting them

• A shop's records stay while the shop uses DayZu. The shop's owner can ask us to delete the shop, or one person's details, at any time.
• You can ask us to delete your account. We delete from our live systems within 30 days. If we keep backups, they expire within 35 days.
• Codes to connect a computer last 10 minutes; invitation links 48 hours.

8. Keeping it safe

Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in sessions and invitation links are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form, and a connected computer proves itself with its own key. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach is likely to harm you, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires, including Australia's Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and Thailand's PDPA.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by writing to hello@dayzu.ai. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, in Thailand, the Personal Data Protection Committee (pdpc.or.th).

10. Cookies and the like

The website remembers your chosen language in your browser. The DayZu Hub uses one cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one (10 minutes) while you sign in with Google. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

11. Children

DayZu is made for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16.

12. Changes

We will update this page and its date when something changes, and say so in the app or the Hub when a change matters to you.
